- The MPDS solar controller is a robust solution designed for three-phase solar pumping systems. It efficiently controls an asynchronous motor powered by a solar array or an optional AC generator backup. The controller ensures continuous monitoring of system performance and incorporates multiple features for enhanced pump system protection. In case of a fault, the LED display on the controller indicates the type of issue. The system is optimized for pumping under challenging input power conditions specific to solar arrays. With internal diagnostics for lower input voltage tolerance, the controller maximizes power output from the solar array, attempting to drive the pump load. The MPDS Series also features remote system monitoring for detailed status indication. Electronic monitoring allows the controller to automatically shut down in various events, including dry well conditions, bound pump, high voltage surge, low input voltage, open motor circuit, short circuit, and overheat.
